Our merry band of travellers boarded the coach at the office of the Prison Service Trust at Hydebank Wood in the morning, stopping off at Applegreen at Castlebellingham en route to Dublin for a much-needed cuppa and a catchup with friends.  We then continued to Dublin, arriving around lunchtime, leaving our luggage at the hotel whilst we went for lunch.  After checking in that afternoon, clients headed out in Dublin at their leisure for an evening meal. The next day after breakfast at the hotel, clients took the opportunity to continue their shopping expeditions and visiting the tourist sites of Dublin.  At tea time we boarded the coach at our hotel to take us to Johnny Foxes pub and restaurant for a gorgeous three course meal, entertained by Irish dancers and a traditional Irish band.  Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and we arrived back at our hotel around midnight.  After breakfast at the hotel on our last morning in Dublin, our guests had a few hours to spend in Dublin before getting the coach again at lunch time to head back to Hydebank Wood, arriving mid-afternoon.

All our clients had a brilliant time and it was lovely to see so many friends of the Prison Service Trust letting their hair down and enjoying the craic.  Here’s to the many more happy PST trips in the future.
