It was an early start on a cold September morning when our clients for our trip to London gathered excitedly at George Best City Airport awaiting our flight to Heathrow. It was great to see some new faces on this trip and of course some recognisable friends. We boarded our flight but unfortunately it was then delayed for an hour on the runway, but this didn’t dampen our spirits with plenty of laughs on board we eventually got in the air and arrived in London. We met our coach for our onward journey the mood was jolly and from the back of the coach you could hear lots of chat and laughter. We arrived at our hotel the St Giles    which was friendly and a great location as a central base to explore the city and only a 10-minute walk to Covent Gardens.

As people got checked in most set off to explore their surroundings with some people sightseeing and others doing a bit of retail therapy the ladies’ eyes lit up at the extent and variety of shopping available to them.  That evening some people took advantage of the theatre which was on our door step to see the musical Grease starring Peter Andre rumours have it there was bloomers flying everywhere and bouncers being called lol!! 😊 Others met up in the hotel later that evening to socialise and get to know each other a bit better.

Next day brought some overcast conditions but this did not affect the mood, after breakfast some of the group set of on their travels getting on the hop on hop off bus to experience all that London had to offer whilst others set off on foot. Our Coach met us outside hotel that evening to transfer us to the Sondheim Theatre for our show Les Misérables.  let’s just say our coach trip was an eventful one as we went up side streets, down the same streets, around in circles, down the wrong way on one streets we eventually had to abandon the coach and go shank’s mare😊😊 but we got there with some laughs along the way.

Day three came too soon but it was time to get ready for the journey home. It was a wet dull day, but some braved the conditions to finish their shopping and do a bit of sight-seeing before the coach arrived to take us back to the airport. We got to the airport and caught our flight back to Belfast where we said our goodbyes. We all had a fantastic time, and it was great to see good friends once again.
