It was a dry June morning when the clients for the trip to Leeds gathered excitedly at Belfast Airport awaiting our flight. It was great to see some new faces on this trip and of course some recognisable friends.

We jetted off and arrived at a wet Manchester Airport, where we eventually met our coach for the onward journey to our hotel in Leeds. The mood was jolly and from the front of the coach we could hear lots of chat and laughter.

We arrived at our hotel which was lovely, friendly and a great base to explore the city. We had decided to go and explore our surroundings and did so in smaller groups where the ladies’ eyes lit up at the extent and variety of shopping available to them. The men also found some good watering holes and coffee shops. We met up again that evening for a beautiful meal back in the hotel.

Day two brought some overcast conditions but this did not affect the mood, with some of the group visiting nearby York to experience all that it has to offer.  A few others visited family and friends close by but the majority hit the shops for a bit of retail therapy. Later that evening we gathered for dinner and discussed our activities and adventures of that day. Most met up in the hotel that evening to socialise and get to know each other a bit better. An early night was had by most.

Day three came too soon but it was time to get ready for the journey home.  It was a wet dull day but some braved the conditions to finish their shopping and do a bit of sight-seeing before the coach arrived to take us back to the airport. We got to the airport and caught our flight back to Belfast where we said our goodbyes.

We all had a fantastic time and it was great to see good friends once again. Hope it won't be too long before we meet again.
