Our journey to Dublin started off from the PST Hydebank on a very wet Monday morning. The coach arrived and thirty-five of us boarded and set of toward Dublin, on route we stopped off at Applegreen services for coffee and a comfort break.
We arrived in Dublin mid-afternoon at the hotel which was right in the city centre and had the rest of Monday free to explore the city.
After a great breakfast on Tuesday morning there was free time to follow up on the sights, shops, drink, food around the city. The coach arrived around teatime to take us to Johnnie Fox’ for dinner and entertainment. Our driver Ken really got into the spirit having craic with us on the way up. After a great journey we arrived at the venue and were treated to a fantastic evening of food, traditional music and dancing, everyone was up for it. We had a lovely meal and we even had one of our group took to the stage for the Irish dancing. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Our coach was waiting for us at 11.00pm and again we had a great trip back to the hotel.
After another great breakfast on Wednesday morning, we had free time to catch the last bargains, coffee, and sights. At 2.00pm we boarded the coach, left Dublin and headed for home. I think all the clients on the trip would agree it was a really great trip and it was good to catch up with old friends and some new ones as well.
