We all met at the PST office on a beautiful sunny Monday morning and boarded our coach for Bloomfield House in Mullingar. It was great to see some new faces and friends we hadn’t seen for a few years.
On route we stopped of for a comfort break at the Buttercrane centre in Newry for a couple of hours free time for shopping and catching a bite to eat. We boarded our coach around 2pm and arrived at Bloomfield House around 4.30pm which was stunningly situated in the heart of the beautiful Westmeath Lakeland’s in an idyllic setting overlooking Lough Ennell, on the outskirts of Mullingar. We had a very easy check in and everyone got their rooms it was time to chill and check out what the 4* Hotel had to offer before we had lovely three course evening meal in the restaurant.
Next morning we woke to another beautiful day with the sun splitting the skies. We all had our breakfast which was exceptional with a massive array of a continental and hot food. After breakfast, some clients got the coach to Carrick on Shannon for a leisurely walk around and check out the beautiful cafes. A few clients decided to stay at the Bloomfield hotel and make use of the leisure facilities and spa treatments, and some had booked the afternoon tea. That evening we had another lovely meal in the hotel and enjoyed the entertainment in the bar.
Wednesday was another glorious day, the weather was definitely in our favour for this trip. After another beautiful breakfast we checked out of our rooms and boarded the coach for our journey home.
On our way home we stopped off at the Boulevard outlet in Banbridge for a couple of hours retail therapy and lunch before continuing our journey back to the PST, arriving back around 4pm.
